It has been so much fun working from this

gorgeous and inspiring book by Amanda Murphy,

full of detailed lessons on the color wheel,

and 12 beautiful projects using Kona cottons,

with many colorway options.

Don't you just love this yummy Kona Sunrise bundle?

I used this and a few other Kona cottons to make

Color Burst from Amanda's book...

just a little "spaghetti" strips after cutting Color Burst...

and the sewn blocks are ready to be assembled!

The instructions where very easy to follow,

and this project was super quick,

and oh so fun to make,

especially with all the vivid colors...

you know how much I love vibrant color.

So here it is! I love how it turned out!

Well, I also started on another Kona project...

but, well, kind-a-sort-a ran out of time...

so...
